Woody Alpern, President & Founder

Woody Alpern, CPA, is the co-founder of both Capital Investment Advisors, which is an Atlanta based registered investment advisory firm, and Capital Benefits Administration, Inc., and he is also a partner in both firms. Capital Investment Advisors was listed in Inc. 5000 as # 681 in 2007 (as featured on Inc.com for America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies), listed in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2008 Book of Lists, page 163, as the 2nd largest fee only financial advisors in Atlanta, and is on Bloomberg’s List of Top 500 Wealth managers.. In addition, Alpern serves as CEO of real estate investment company Roswell Holdings, LLC. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting, Alpern spent several years in the tax division of the accounting firm Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche) before partnering with Michael Reiner to found his own businesses. Alpern enjoys spending time with his wife and children as well as appearing on financial radio shows and speaking at local non-profit organizations.

Michael Reiner, Founder & Owner

Michael Reiner is the co-founder and president of Capital Investment Advisors, and his career in the securities industry spans more than 25 years. Among his many accomplishments, he served as vice president of an asset-based lending group for 13 years. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree in finance. In his free time, he acts as a guest speaker for many Atlanta-area non-profit groups. He also enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and playing tennis.
